Roger Narboni is famous as an author of 75 research works in lighting design for the major cities of the world. His concept of lighting creates a recognizable and individual night image of a city. ‘Light must express an idea, he says. A city must be recognizable even from a bird’s-eye view through its night lights, river bends and illuminated architectural monuments.’

William Alsop, a well known British architect, designer and artist, will present a lecture entitled ‘The Street: an Ordinary Building and Other Creatures’. In his work, Alsop starts with the design of individual buildings and comes to the fundamental principles of urbanism and city planning. He consciously avoids definite styles trying to make his designs as fluid and transpaent as possible.
